Police: Bellmore man dies in crash at Merrick train station

According to police, Lloyd Sagendorph crashed his car into the concrete train trestle stanchion just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say one person has died in a crash at the Merrick train station.
According to police, Lloyd Sagendorph crashed his car into the concrete train trestle stanchion just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say moments before, witnesses saw the 30-year-old hit a light pole. They say he backed up his car and continued speeding through the parking lot until he crashed into the trestle.
Police say the Bellmore man died of his injuries.
