Police: Anti-police graffiti scrawled on several locations in Bellmore

Police are searching for the people responsible for scrawling anti-police graffiti in Bellmore.
"Kill All Cops" was one of many statements that was found spray painted in red on more than a half-dozen locations in the neighborhood on Tuesday.

Police tell News 12 that officers were called to Newbridge Road Elementary School to investigate the profanity-laced, anti-police graffiti in the neighborhood.
As police looked through the area, police say similar graffiti was found at six other locations near Bellmore Avenue, including Super Pizza, fences and cars.
"I don't think it's right," says Ruth Tucker, of Bellmore. "I don't think they should be destroying property."
Detectives say the graffiti was written on the property between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder expressed their frustrations too. Curran called it disgusting and both said it will not be tolerated.
If you have any information about the graffiti, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
