Suffolk police say they have arrested a man after he struck two pedestrians protesting in Huntington Monday.
The suspect was driving on Broadway when he struck two Black Lives Matter protesters who were standing in the road, police say.
Both pedestrians were transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The driver fled the scene but was arrested shortly after, authorities say.
