The delayed start to this year's pro baseball season means players like New Hyde Park's Alex Katz had more time to work on their hobbies.
Katz has turned his hobby into a business, and it’s one of the coolest in the game - making custom cleats.
Three years ago, while competing for Team Israel in the World Baseball Classic, Katz started making his own custom cleats.
The business started to grow through word of mouth, and now he's the owner of Stadium Custom Kicks, a company making awesome art for the some of the biggest names in the game.
Katz employs a team of kicks creators, cranking out more than 800 pairs of cool cleats a year, from tie dye to tigers to tacos.
For Yankees pitcher Luis Severino, it was Black Panther.

The Pirates Dereck Holland wanted "The Office," and Phillies slugger Rhys Hopkins went with his dog.
It's not just baseball - NBA player Jaxson Hayes wore a Katz creation in a game, as did the Chiefs Alex Brown in the Super Bowl.
When Katz plays for Team Israel again, he'll be rocking the "Mench on the Bench.”
Katz wants to be known as the "Pitcher turned Picasso" and the "Cezzane of sneakers" - and for Stadium Custom Kicks to be every games' most fabulous footwear.
