An environmental firm has concluded that Northport Middle School is safe to be occupied.
As News 12 has reported, the middle school was closed in January after elevated levels of dangerous chemicals were found on the property.
An environmental firm has completed its investigation, and concluded there's no reason to render the school "unsafe to occupy."
The Northport School District is now expected to hold a public forum next week on the findings.
