Protesters gathered in Roosevelt Saturday to march from Nassau Road to the Baldwin police precinct in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Earlier in the day, a rally was held in Rockville Centre, where protesters were also calling for change.
Protesters marched down Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre to call for justice for George Floyd and others who they say have been victims of racial injustice.
 
Brittany Baez organized the protest in Rockville Centre, and says she wants police departments to reform.
In Roosevelt, Pastor Arthur Mackey Junior of Mount Sinai Baptist Church told News 12 that police need to be held accountable for any injustices against the community.
 
The protesters in Roosevelt marched nearly three miles to Baldwin, where they ended the rally on Merrick Road.
Protesters say they'll continue to organize Black Lives Matter rallies for as long as they have to.
