As the country starts to reopen in phases, many more people are getting tested for COVID-19. But what is the right test for you? The diagnostic test or the anti-body test.
News 12’s Prashanti Musapet spoke with two experts, Chief Medical Officer Thomas McCarrick, of the Vanguard Medical Group, and Dr. Alexander Salerno, of Salerno Medical Associates. They discuss the three types of diagnostic testing – for when someone is sick and needs to determine if they have COVID-19, as well as the anti-body test – which is to determine is someone has either been exposed to or had COVID-19 in the past.
