Police: Pedestrian in Bay Shore killed in hit-and-run crash
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Bay Shore Saturday night, Suffolk County police say.

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Bay Shore Saturday night, Suffolk County police say.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. when the victim was crossing Sunrise Highway near the Fifth Avenue bridge when he was struck by a Nissan Altima.
Police say the car was a rental and the driver took off on foot.
They have not yet identified the victim.
