Nassau police say one person has died after a boat capsized in the Jones Beach inlet at Point Lookout Saturday morning.

They say four people went into the water as waves hit the boat and overturned it.

Police say two passengers were picked up safely by another boater. They say the operator of the capsized boat was found by the NYPD Aviation Dive Team a short time later, and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say a fourth person, a 55-year-old man, remains missing and that search and rescue efforts will continue.
