Long Island to receive $18M in federal grants to address coronavirus issues

The money comes from the recently passed $2 trillion CARES Act.

Long Island is receiving more money from Washington to help with the pandemic.
Housing and Urban Development says Nassau and Suffolk counties will get about $18 million additional federal grants.
The money comes from the recently passed $2 trillion CARES Act.
The funds will go directly to counties and towns to cover COVID-19 expenses.
