Police are searching for burglars in connection to a break-in at a super Foodtown supermarket. 

Police say the burglars broke in through the roof of the building at 2945 Bruckner Blvd. They say the burglars disabled the alarm and removed the cameras and the hard drives from the security system. 

The incident temporarily shut down the business. 

“It's terrible. I feel bad for the store. They have been open for us, and someone comes and steals from them,” said a shopper. 

By early Monday afternoon, the supermarket had reopened its doors for business. 

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
