He makes specialty cakes for all occasions. But with all events postponed, The Cake Don in Carle Place is mixing it up a bit. Don Donneruno found a new way to make life a little sweeter for Long Islanders.

He started making cupcakes.

"I have people ordering for themselves, for their kids, for birthdays and we deliver to the house direct. A ton of people are ordering for nurses and doctors at the hospitals that we've been delivering to. We have a lot of nurses and doctors on Long Island and we really appreciate what they've been doing so they are giving me a call and we are delivering cupcakes," says Donneruno.

Cupcakes are sold by the dozen, and there's free delivery in Nassau County, and parts of Suffolk County.
