A graduate student at Stockton University is using his talent, hobby and free time to make face masks.

 

After buying a 3D printer, Gavin Rozzi was able to print face masks, which are currently in high demand. He makes about two or three a day, and gives them to local health care workers.

Rozzi says he's always been passionate about using technology to help people.

 

''I've always been a tech-oriented person, and certainly I'm thankful for all the folks on the front lines working, putting themselves in harm’s way, but I figure with my own skill set, this is the best I can do and certainly glad to do it,” says Rozzi.

The 23-year-old says he sterilizes the masks after they are printed.

He uses vacuum bags and a roll of plastic filament he bought on Amazon, but he thinks it could be a while before he can get another shipment.
