New York malls close up shop as part of effort to flatten the curve

Malls across New York have closed their doors as part of the effort to flatten the curve of coronavirus cases.
Indoor portions of malls, amusement parks and bowling alleys have now been closed down, along with restaurants, gyms and bars.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo says New York is joining Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New Jersey in closing malls as of 8 p.m. Thursday. This includes the Westfield malls in Massapequa and Bay Shore.
