State Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Jean-Pierre is the third member of the state Assembly to test positive for the virus. She is now under self-quarantine in her home.

Assembly leaders say Jean-Pierre was in Albany as recently as Wednesday, but that she was no in direct contact with any other lawmakers.

Jean-Pierre represents the 11th Assembly District, which includes portions of the Town of Babylon.
