Curran: At least 278 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Nassau

Statewide there are currently over 1,300 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has announced there are now 278 positive cases of coronavirus in the county – 142 new cases since Tuesday.
Curran says the number of positive cases jumped drastically due to the increase in testing – specifically at the Jones Beach drive-through testing site.
Statewide there are currently over 1,300 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Curran expressed concern over residents’ mental health during this time – saying there is counseling available.
