Police: Flanders woman assaults man in Riverhead laundromat

A Flanders woman is accused of assault in Riverhead after police say she called 911.

Police responded to the Riverside laundromat on West Main Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police, Tonya Minter reported she was in a physical dispute with a man.

When officers arrived, they say they determined Minter was the attacker who assaulted the man.

She has been charged with assault.
