Sen. Chuck Schumer announced a plan to bring federal funding to Long Island to help tackle the coronavirus.

He says that local governments and hospitals will spend millions of dollars combating the virus over the next few months.

The virus has sickened more than 80 Americans, including one New Yorker, and killed two.
