A man was killed in a fatal crash in North Bellport late Friday, officials say.

Police say a 77-year-old man driving a Lincoln sedan was hit from behind by a GMC Sierra near Exit 55 in the eastbound lanes on Sunrise Highway around 9:45 p.m.

The Lincoln went onto the center median and struck a divider. The Sierra kept going for about 100 feet and then crashed into a concrete pillar under the Sill Road overpass.
