West Hills Day Camp in Huntington is closing this summer.
Camp owner Kevin Gersh made the announcement on the West Hills Facebook page and website.
He says the camp is closing due to low enrollment.
The camp opened in 1954 and has since been a summer staple for many Long Islanders.
Gersh says the campus will continue to provide services for individuals on the autism spectrum.
He says any deposits or payments already made will be fully refunded.
