Officials: 2 people fall through ice at Mount Tom State Park

Two people were pulled from the water after falling through ice Sunday at Mount Tom State Park in Washington.
Authorities say bystanders helped pull them from the water and took them to a nearby house.
First responders retrieved the victims' fishing gear.
Elsewhere in the state, officials in Torrington said six people were rescued from the icy waters of Burr Pond Sunday.
Fire responders are reminding people to stay off the ice with the recent warmer air.
