A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday night to honor a Freehold woman who officials say was killed by her boyfriend.
The vigil for Stephanie Parze, who would've turned 26 years old today, will begin at 51 W. Main St. in Freehold. Attendees will then walk down Main Street to the Monmouth County Hall of Records.
Parze was missing for nearly three months when her body was found in a wooded area along Route 9 in Old Bridge.
The county prosecutor's office says her boyfriend, John Ozbilgen, had killed her before he killed himself at his parents' Freehold home days before Parze's body was found.
The Parze family has also previously warned of scammers who may prey on their circumstances.
Her family plans to announce a foundation they created in her name.
