Suffolk police say they are trying to track down a group of ATV riders who were caught on camera tearing up a lawn at a home in Deer Park.
Police released the video Tuesday of what appears to be a handful of people on all-terrain vehicles vandalizing a lawn on Nantuket Lane on Jan. 18.
"The ATVs come around here all the time though 'cause we have the dirt track over there. So they're around all the time,” says resident Nicole Baldwin.
Tracey Vandakel  who lives down the street said she remembers seeing the group riding down the street that day, but she didn't see them go on the lawn.
"They came down the street and they were doing their wheelies and eights, just going around and around," Vandakel says.
Home surveillance also captured what appeared to be someone getting off of a bicycle, walking up to the driveway and using a crowbar to strike a 2018 Tesla that was parked at the very same home at the center of the ATV incident.
"It's certainly possible they're connected. We can't make a direct connection at this time," said Suffolk Police Lt. Paul Mamay.
A number of neighbors who did not want to be on camera said ATVs have been an issue. There's now a $5,000 reward being offered for information that helps find the group.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
