The woman charged in connection to the disappearance and murder of New Canaan mother Jennifer Dulos has a new attorney.
Michelle Troconis is no longer represented by attorney Andrew Bowman. She's hired attorney Jon Schoenhorn out of Hartford.
Schoenhorn filed a motion today asking that Troconis' case be moved from Stamford Superior Court to Hartford. He says the move is because the crimes his client is accused of took place there. He added that media attention in Fairfield County makes it hard to get a fair trial.
Troconis is charged with conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering prosecution.
Schoenhorn says while the death of Fotis Dulos puts his client in the prosecution's "crosshairs," he points out the suicide note left behind declared Troconis innocent.
She's due in court Friday and is expected to plead not guilty to the conspiracy charge.
