Google alerted some users of Google Photos that their private videos were accidentally sent to other users. Google says its Takeout service, which lets users download their data, was affected by the technical issue. The company did not say how many people were affected or the number of videos that were sent to strangers.

Spotify is buying Bill Simmons' sports and culture media company, The Ringer, according to Recode. This would be Spotify's fourth biggest podcast deal this year. The Ringer produces around 30 podcasts, many of which are among the most popular on the charts. Spotify says it will keep Simmons and all 90 of his employees, and it will also keep The Ringer website up and running. A price was not disclosed.
Amazon is the newest member of the trillion-dollar club. Amazon closed with a valuation above $1 trillion after flirting with the milestone for months. That coincides with Jeff Bezos selling $1.8 billion worth of Amazon shares over the last week, according to SEC filings.
