Nassau SPCA offers $10,000 for information on abandoned dog abuser

Posted: Updated:

A new reward is being offered for information on whoever abused and abandoned a dog in Valley Stream.

Officials say a white, male boxer mix named Chester was found on Princeton Street last month.

They say he was extremely malnourished and had several burn marks, likely caused by cigarettes, on the top of his head.

The Nassau County SPCA is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to call the Animal Abuse Hotline at 516-843-7722.
