Nassau police say Dina Lohan was arrested in North Merrick Saturday evening for driving drunk and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say Lohan was driving her 2016 Mercedes as she left the Outback Steakhouse in Merrick around 7 p.m. That's when she allegedly struck another car and then fled the scene.
The victim of that accident called police and chased Lohan to her home, and police say they arrested her for DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say Lohan was verbally combative with officers and refused to lower her car window.
According to court documents, police asked her to step out of the car. When she did, she took two steps and fell to the ground.
Officers says they also noticed a strong smell of alcohol on her breath.
Police say Lohan refused a breathalyzer at the home, and once she was placed under arrest, she allegedly told officers, "My lawyer is gonna (expletive) you up."
According to the deposition, Lohan also told officers that “I did nothing wrong, she hit my car and I didn't even hurt anyone, she hit me,” referencing the other driver.
Police say that Lohan was also driving without a license, registration or inspection.
Back in 2013, Lohan was arrested for DWI as she was speeding down the Northern State Parkway with an alcohol level of .20, close to three times the legal limit.
At the time, Lohan was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and as she left court, she told reporters, “I'll never be back here again, you can quote me on that one.”
Lohan entered a plea of not guilty Sunday. She is due back in court on Jan. 15.
