A young organ donor from Wading River was honored at the Rose Bowl Parade Wednesday.
Tom Cutinella was among those remembered on the Donate Life float.
The high school football player died five years ago after suffering a traumatic brain injury during a game.
Cutinella's portrait, made from spices and coffee, appeared on the float.
In October, News 12 aired a series on Cutinella, his family and his organ recipients.
Three months before his death, on his 16th birthday, Cutinella registered as an organ donor, which Cutinella's mother says only adds to his legacy.+
