Heads up for commuters, the Long Island Rail Road is announcing schedule changes beginning on Jan. 6.

The temporary changes are happening because of construction taking place at Penn Station.

Lines affected include Babylon, Far Rockaway, Hempstead, West Hempstead, Long Beach, Port Jefferson, Port Washington and Ronkonkoma.

The schedule adjustments will last until March.

The MTA says the changes are similar to those made last January.
