WBLI’s Syke gets back ‘on the shelf’ to collect toys for children in need

Anyone who would like to participate in the can go to 555 Sunrise Highway at 12 p.m. Friday.

A WBLI radio personality got back “on the shelf” to collect toys for some children in need Friday.
Andrew Sykora, better known as Syke from the “Syke & MJ in the Morning” show, collected toys in full elf regalia at the West Babylon studio for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation
Friday's event was filled with elfish festivities, music, food, games and a visit from Santa Claus. 
It's not too late to donate. You can still drop off gifts at any Long Island Friendly’s location, Atlantic Hyundai or Giunta’s Meat Farms through Monday, Dec. 23.
