Police: Armed suspects tie up woman in zip ties, steal cellphone

A woman was tied down and abducted after police say she was robbed at gunpoint.
According to police, the 30-year-old victim was supposed to meet a man inside a black SUV near Unionport Road and Metropolitan Oval on Nov. 19 around 4:30 a.m.
News 12 is told the woman thought she was meeting one of the men who attacked her for a sexual encounter.
The victim tells investigators when she entered the SUV another man, who she had past sexual relations with, was waiting with a gun. That’s when authorities say the gunman took her cellphone and bound her hands and feet with zip ties.
Police say the man she knew wanted the woman’s phone because she was allegedly texting his wife.
When he couldn’t gain access to her phone, News 12 is told the men drove her to a Boost Mobile store in Yonkers where she managed to escape and get help. The suspects fled in the black SUV.
The victim suffered cuts to her hands and feet, but officials say she's OK.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
