Service at Bethpage LIRR station resumes after car crashes into crossing gate
Posted: Updated:A car crashed into the train crossing gate Monday night at Stewart Avenue in Bethpage.
The vehicle completely knocked down the gate.
The accident resulted in a LIRR train being held at the Bethpage station, but service has since resumed.
There is no word yet on any injuries.
