Officials warn shoppers of Cyber Monday scams

WOODBURY -

Ready, set, shop! Today is Cyber Monday, and it could be the biggest online shopping day in U.S. history.

However, the Better Business Bureau is warning shoppers of possible scams.

The agency says watch out for false advertising and keep a close eye on web addresses because scammers love to create look-a-like websites.

Officials are also urging shoppers to keep anti-virus software up to date and to double check prices before hitting "buy,” since some offers can be misleading.
