2 cars overturn, drivers hospitalized in Centereach crash

Officials are blaming icy conditions for a serious crash in Centereach.

Officials received a call for help around 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

According to officials, rescue crews responded to Betty Ann Drive near Balin Avenue.

Police say a car lost control and swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding head on with a pickup truck. Both vehicles overturned.

Police say the two male drivers were taken to the hospital. There is no word on their condition.
