Two post offices in South Brunswick township have had their mailboxes pried open, police say.

Witnesses told police that two people in a white car were seen attempting to enter the post office in the Dayton section of town on Sunday.

Later that day, a white car was also seen at the post office in Monmouth Junction.

Anyone with information is asked to call the U.S. Postal Service of South Brunswick police.
