Black Rock resident says tires were stolen off of her car

Posted: Updated:

A Black Rock resident says there has been an increase in crime in her neighborhood.

The woman did not want to be identified but she says her tires were recently stolen off of her car.

Police say more officers are patrolling the Black Rock area after this spate of home and car burglaries.

The car's owner says it's important for people to see what's going on in her community.

Police say they made an arrest this week in connection with several crimes in that area and hope the stepped up patrols will make a difference.
