Less job and more tradition? How you could make $1,000 by watching Christmas movies

Posted: Updated:

Technology company CenturyLink is taking applications for what they're calling the "Hallmark Movie Dream Job," giving people a chance to make money watching Christmas movies.

The job requires you to watch 24 Hallmark Christmas movies in the 12 days before Christmas.

If chosen, the company will pay you $1,000 to complete the feat.

There are rules though. You have to love Christmas and be willing to document your feelings about the movie marathon on social media.

The company is accepting applications through Dec. 6.
