Posted: Updated:

A Franklin Square music tutor is accused of sending inappropriate text messages to a teen, and police are now looking for other students who may have received similar messages.

Police say Eric Mordhorst was working as a music tutor for a year when he repeatedly sent messages to the 14-year-old male student.

The 67-year-old is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was issued a court appearance ticket.

Detectives are asking anyone who believes they also may have been a victim to contact the Fifth Squad at 516-573-6553.
