Nonprofit helps renovate Brentwood VFW post

A VFW post that was built in the 1940s is getting some much-needed repairs in Brentwood.
The American Patriot Heroes Fund, a nonprofit that gives back to those who have served our country, is helping renovate VFW Post 6431 in Brentwood.
Post Commander Sabrina Lacy says there are a lot of improvements that need to be done.
“We need to get the parking lot done-- we need the roof done-- the electrical system and the heating system. We want it upgraded,” she says.
On Sunday, the building was painted and a new water heater was installed. The nonprofit says there are a lot more renovations to come.
