A Melville woman is accused of harassing and stalking a special needs child.

State troopers say 25-year-old Krista Sewell harassed a child from upstate, who suffers from a severe genetic disorder that affects the skin, for nearly a year.

They say Sewell posted threatening messages on Facebook, Instagram and GoFundMe sites and mailed letters to the victims' home.

She's being held in the Ulster County Jail.
