McDonald’s fires CEO after he engaged in consensual relationship with colleague

McDonald’s has fired its CEO Steve Easterbrook after he engaged in a consensual relationship with a colleague. The fast-food giant said the relationship violated company policy and showed poor judgement. Easterbrook was credited with doubling the company's share price and revitalizing McDonald's through tech-based initiatives.

Airbnb is banning unauthorized parties after a shooting at a Halloween party at an Airbnb rental that left five dead. The home was rented by a woman who claimed her family was attempting to escape smoke from a wildfire. The homeowner warned her not to have parties.

Some Apple iPhones and iPads will stop working without a software update from Apple. The update lets devices synchronize time and connect to the internet. Devices affected include iPhones and iPads from 2012 or earlier, such as the iPhone 5. If you missed the deadline, there is still hope: the devices can be updated by connecting them to a computer to install the update manually.
