Nassau's 6th Precinct is officially back open.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in Manhasset Thursday.

As News 12 has reported, the 6th and 8th precincts were closed in 2012 to cut costs.

Nearly $1 million in renovations were made to the nearly 50-year-old building including the lobby and parking lot.
