Police are searching for the man they say exposed himself to a group of children in Park Slope earlier this week.

It happened Monday right around the time school let out.

Police say there were a lot of children in the area when it happened around 2:50 p.m.

They say the man they are looking for walked up on to a stoop in front of a group of children, exposed himself and performed a lewd act on himself.

Officials say he appeared to be trying to get the attention of several of the young girls, who were around 11 years old.

Police say he was wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans and a black jacket at the time.

Anyone who recognizes the man in the video is asked to call police.
