Police: Man robs Sound Beach gas station at gunpoint

Police say they're searching for a man who held up a Sound Beach gas station at gunpoint Saturday night.

It happened at CND Automotive around 8:45 p.m. The 50-year-old attendant told police that a man came in, flashed a gun and demanded cash.

The employee handed over his wallet and cash from the register, and the suspect took off.

Police say the suspect was wearing all black clothing and a mask, and was carrying a black backpack with blue trim.
