Notorious BIG, Whitney Houston, Pat Benatar among 2020 Rock Hall nominees

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its slate of 2020 nominees Tuesday morning.

Brooklyn-born and Long Island-raised rocker Pat Benatar is nominated for the first time, as are Brooklyn's the Notorious BIG and New Jersey's Whitney Houston. Jam band legends the Dave Matthews Band are also nominated for the first time. Depeche Mode looks to make it in on their third ballot. Electronic pioneers Kraftwerk are nominated for a sixth time.
