Police: Latin Kings gang member from Memphis charged in Westbury home invasion

Posted: Updated:

A second Latin Kings gang member was charged in a terrifying home invasion in Westbury.

Police say Jose Tejada was just extradited from Memphis, Tennessee.

According to investigators, the admitted gang member was one of three men who forced their way into a Westbury home in July and held a man at gunpoint.

Police say Tejada and another man ransacked the victim's home.

Tejada faces robbery, burglary, and firearms charges.

Julio Vasquez, an alleged Latin Kings member from Connecticut, was charged in the same home invasion last month.

A third suspect has not been caught.
