A judge has denied the request for a special prosecutor in the case against a man accused of driving drunk and killing a Boy Scout.

Judge denies special prosecutor request in Boy Scout death trial
A judge has denied the request for a special prosecutor in the case against a man accused of driving drunk and killing a Boy Scout.
Andrew McMorris, 12, was hiking in Manorville with his troop when police say Thomas Murphy hit and killed him while drunk.

Murphy is charged with vehicular manslaughter.
           
His trial is slated to start next week.
