Police: 2 teens injured when motorcycle collides with car in Copiague

Police say two teenagers were injured in a motorcycle crash in Copiague Wednesday night.

They say the boys failed to stop at a stop sign around 7:45 p.m. at the corner of Vespucci and Campagnoli avenues, causing them to collide into a car.

A 13-year-old riding as a passenger was seriously injured, while a 14-year-old driving the motorcycle was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was not injured. Police say the teens were not wearing helmets.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
