Posted: Updated:

Two people were injured after a car slammed into a Hicksville home, taking a traffic light along with it.

Police say a 25-year-old man was driving on Bethpage Road when he somehow lost control and slammed into the home on Woodbury Road.

Officials say the traffic light went through the front window of the home.

A 54-year-old man inside the house suffered a leg injury and was taken to the hospital.

The unidentified driver was also taken to a hospital for evaluation.

No word if he is facing any charges.
