Hundreds of people were circling the Tanger Outlet Center in Riverhead Sunday for a 5K walk to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer.
It marks the 21st annual Breast Cancer Awareness walk. Survivors took part in the event, along with friends and relatives of people who are fighting the disease.
The event is organized by the North Fork Breast Health Coalition, and is sponsored by News 12.

News 12 meteorologist Rich Hoffman served as emcee.
Organizers say the walk's message is to keep fighting the disease and reach out for support if you need it.
"Long Island had one of the highest rates of breast cancer, we're seeing more and more recurrences, it's continuing to happen," says Melanie McEvoy, of the North Fork Breast Health Coalition.
About 300 people took part in the walk this year, raising around $15,000.
